Zygomatic implants 1
F.P. 55 Years
The Patient had an upper denture and a lower removable prosthesis (overdenture) for about 10 years. She came to our attention complaining about the instability of the two prostheses, making her feel very embarrassed to relate with other people. The maxilla is severely atrophic. The upper jaw was rehabilitated with 4 zygomatic implants immediately loaded with a Toronto Bridge. The mandible was then rehabilitated with ALL on 4 technique. In these cases we pay attention not only to the function and aesthetics of the smile but to give the patient an harmonic profile of the face as well.

Zygomatic implants 2
The patient turned to us to restore chewing in both arches. Initially it was a carrier of total lower dentures and a partial removable upper prosthesis anchored to a few remaining dental elements with loss of periodontal attachment and mobility.
This condition is associated with a severe bone atrophy of the jaw and mandible, so it was said that it was not possible to put fixed teeth. Thanks to the aid of 4 zygomatic implants and 4 standard implants, it was possible to rehabilitate the patient with two fixed Toronto prostheses screwed onto implants. The result obtained from the functional and aesthetic point of view reflects the desire of Rinalda who rediscovered the pleasure of smiling.

Zygomatic implants 3
Paolo, the bearer of two partial dentures with hooks, does not feel satisfied with his current situation at the time of the visit, because he has difficulty in chewing and the aesthetics of the prostheses are not in line with the smile he wants for his face. The residual dental elements were not recoverable due to serious loss of bone support. In his case it was possible to rehabilitate both the arches with two fixed prostheses with immediate loading anchored to 4 upper zygomatic implants and 4 lower standard dental implants, using the “All on 4” technique. The patient is more than satisfied with the result obtained and has faced the operation under general anesthesia, not experiencing any pain and waking up with the fixed teeth.

Zygomatic implants 4
L.L. 68 Years.
The patient has a severe maxillary atrophy, caused also by the presence of dentures worn for about 10 years. In this case were placed 4 zygomatic implants in the maxilla (Quad technique) and 4 implants in the jaw (ALL on 4 technique). The patient is very happy because it was possible to finish surgical and prosthetic treatment in just one day.

Zygomatic implants 5
F.A. 75 Years
The patient came to our attention with compromised dental elements in both upper and lower jaw. She has been told previously two complete dentures would have been the ideal treatment. But her desire is to have fixed teeth, without undergoing more surgery sessions to regenerate the missing bone. The case has been solved with an implant-prosthetic rehabilitation supported by two zygomatic implants and two conventional implants (Hybrid technique). Although the bone volume might seem sufficient, the bone quality evaluated during surgery was not sufficient to rely exclusively on the maxilla. The mandible was rehabilitated with ALL ON 4 technique and finally was performed a mentoplasty augmentation to give her a harmonic profile of the face. The patient is very happy with the result.

Zygomatic implants 6
M.C. 69 Years
The patient has a severe maxillary atrophy. She previously undergone bone reconstruction surgery, unsuccessfully. She had to wear a denture for about 2 years waiting to find an answer to her desire to have fixed teeth. It was possible to meet her expectations giving her an implant-prosthetic rehabilitation supported by zygomatic implants and placing fixed teeth the same day of the operation. The teeth in the lower jaw had a high mobility index. The case was completed with ALL ON 4 technique with immediate prosthetic loading. In this case is evident how a proper and harmonic facial profile was achieved by restoring the volume of missing bone with the prosthesis supported by zygomatic implants. The soft tissues regained their tone and the patient said she looks much younger now.
